Hundreds of people dressed up like St. Nick on Sunday for the annual Ri Ra's Santa 5K Run in Burlington.

The Santas started on Church Street and ran a rolling course with one hill on Battery Street. All participants received a full Santa suit and an Irish breakfast after the race at Ri Ra Irish pub.

The fourth Annual Ri Ra 5K Santa Run was presented by New England Federal Credit Union and supports Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, a year-round camp in South Hero for kids with cancer.

Runners were encouraged to collect pledges in support of their run for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta. The runner who raises the most money will receive a $1,000 gift certificate to Von Bargen's Jewelry.

"The Ri Ra Santa 5K is a fun way to bring the community together to celebrate the holidays, promote health and wellness and support Camp Ta-Kum-Ta," said Hattie Johnson, acting executive director at Camp Ta-Kum-Ta.

Runners in Santa suits pack Church Street at the College Street crossing on Sunday morning.
